What this service is

VPNCompareHQ is an independent comparison site. We publish prices that VPN providers print on their own pages, quoted verbatim with the date they were read. We are not a VPN provider, we do not resell any provider's service, and we take no position on what any reader should do with a connection.

How we are paid

Providers may pay us a commission when you subscribe through a link on this site. That never changes a printed figure, the order of the table or whether a provider appears: the ranking is the price the provider published, and a provider that pays nothing is listed on the same terms as one that does.

About the price index

Every figure in the index is quoted verbatim from the provider's own published pricing page, with the URL, the date it was read and a hash of the page text at that moment. A provider whose page could not be read, or which prices in another currency, is listed with that fact rather than an estimate.

No warranty

The index reports what providers published on the dates shown. Intro prices on this shelf change with named sales every few weeks, renewal terms change less often but do change, and a figure here is evidence of what a page said on a date, not an offer. Check the provider's own page before you pay.
