Choosing a provider for a smart TV
Check the platform, not the category. Android TV and Google TV run apps; most Samsung and LG sets do not, and those need the router route or a streaming stick instead. The provider's own page says which it supports.
Count the simultaneous connections. A television is one more device on a household plan that also carries phones and laptops, and the entry plan is where connection limits bite.
Read the renewal before the app. The TV app is the reason you are choosing, but the renewal is what you will pay for it in year three, and it is printed on the same pricing page as the headline.
